This Sunday, June 8, 2025, it is 9:45pm, when we notice that the Entrée Bepanda Street - Public School of Deido has returned to its usual atmosphere and the traffic has returned to normal after being interrupted for almost the whole day by the law enforcement.

This measure was aimed at preventing a narrow meeting between the president of the MRC, Maurice Kamto, and the local officials of his party, whose headquarters are located on this street in the Deido Grand Moulin neighborhood.
Arriving in Douala on Saturday night, Maurice Kamto, the main opposition to Paul Biya's regime, is housed in a place under high police and gendarmerie surveillance, preventing him from going to his party headquarters.
Despite this hostile environment, he decided to hold his meeting for tomorrow Monday. If the authorities maintain their decision, the Bepanda Entrance - Public School axis may be blocked again, which would be problematic since it is an important axis for road users, including traders, civil servants, students and others, who regularly borrow it on weekdays.
