Tech Queen is trending because FBI have arrested Hushmummy, Sapphire Egemasi, the sister of Precious Egemasi aka. Bad Boy Anonymous an alleged known associate of Mompha and HushPuppi.
She specialized in receiving, disbursing and laundering money through wire, for yahoo boys., which includes some popular celebrities, allegedly.

Saphire who’s the face of Nigerian “women in tech” due to her lavish lifestyle which sold the illusion that women can make it that big in tech in a short time, that’s why she’s called “Tech Queen”.
She designed websites and was the Azaman for a syndicate of yahoo boys. But she “internshipped” at luxurious companies as her cover, like Oil companies, and luxury fashion brands like HM and Zara.
She was arrested last month in New York, along side other “work” colleagues including Samuel Kwadwo Osei, a Ghanaian connect from when she briefly lived in Ghana (To learn work).
They’ve been indicted for a $1.3M (₦2.2bn) fraud, involving the US Government, excluding others at the moment. This alone is exposing them to atleast 20yrs imprisonment.
She’s been active from 2021 to 2023, according to the evidence the FBI got.
An evidence tendered by FBI shows receipt of a re-routed $965k stolen from the Government of Kentucky, and another $335k.
So they operate in Nigeria, Ghana and US. Before the arrest, she sold the persona of being a newbie in management tech, not programming.
She’s currently enrolled in Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge where she’s again, studying Human Resources Management, to further seem immaculate. As according to her, her tech career started in 2021.
When convicted, she and her gang will pay fine, refund the money, serve their time in a US prison and get deported at the end of their sentence. (No Repatriation).
As things stand, FBI have not fully released their investigations, as it is believed more people will likely go down when the case is fully established. Although FBI have confirmed that it is difficult to track the funds because they were neatly disguised.
Before this, Sapphire was notorious for broke shaming people and completely condemning yahoo boys.
Her alleged brother is Bad Boy Anonymous, Precious Egemasi, he owns Anonymous Music (Bad boy Timz former label), and GoCrazy Fashion.
