According to Naijausers Source , there are Sources in Abuja that says Tinubu’s political camp is actively engaging Kwankwaso to return to the All Progressives Congress (APC), believing his northern influence—especially through the Kwankwasiyya movement—could significantly boost Tinubu’s re-election chances.
The move has gained traction among party stakeholders, particularly after APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje declined to endorse Shettima at the APC North-East stakeholders' meeting in Gombe State.
Kwankwaso finished fourth in the 2023 presidential election but Tinubu’s advisers view Kwankwaso as a key political asset who can help consolidate APC’s dominance in the region.
