Nyesom Wike Accused Of Taking University of Abuja Land

University of Abuja is trending because Nyesom Wike has officially taken 63.4% of the university’s land, reducing it to 4k hectares.

Wike asserted that the UniAbuja illegally grabbed 11,824 hectares, fenced it and yet couldn’t provide documentations. So, he took back 7,000 of the 11,825, scaling down the University perm site, in Giri District.

UniAbuja immediately dropped down to 8th in largest university rankings.

Before the downsizing it used to be 3rd, behind only OAU and UNILORIN, 13,000 and 15,000 respectively.

The 7,000 recovered land would be reallocated and parts of it used for infrastructural development, Wike said, at the commissioning of the new road leading to the EFCC academy and other organizations in area.

But Nigerians aren’t buying it. Because of the news last week where he allegedly allocated 2,000 hectares of land to his son Joachim. Many believe this is just another mindless looting.
